Ucoins and transactions

UCoins are used as a means of payment within UCash24 to simplify payment transactions.

Regardless of whether you send or receive UCoins internally, you always have the option of displaying the equivalent value in your preferred currency. UCoins are based on the Swiss franc exchange rate.

1 Swiss franc consists of 100 Swiss centimes and 100 Swiss centimes are therefore also 100 UCoins. Consequently, for example, 100 Swiss francs would be 10,000 UCoins. But don't worry, you don't have to convert, our system does that automatically. For example, you want to send $100 to someone, then simply set dollars as the starting currency and our system will show you how many UCoins $100 is. You can change the starting currency at any time. Remember that UCash24 is based on the Swiss franc exchange rate and therefore fluctuations up or down are possible.

When you pay retailers, service providers, etc., payment is usually made via QR code or ID. Since retailers have the same conditions as any other user, all payments are credited to the retailer as UCoins in their wallet, which they can withdraw at any time.

Using UCash24 is free, only transactions are charged at 1.5%.

When sending UCoins to other users, you have the option of deciding whether you pay the transaction fee, the recipient pays, or both of you share the fee. The fees are displayed to you and to the recipient.
